Yukiyoshi Ôdachi

This Ôdachi was made by Yukiyoshi during the Nambokuchô era (1336 - 1392).  

It has a nagasa (cutting edge) of 142.4 cm and sori (curvature) of 6.6 cm.

Mei (name): Bingo (no)  Kuni Junin Yukiyoshi saku. 

Location: Itsukushima Jinja, Hiroshima.

Period: Nambokuchô (1336 - 1392).

Sugata (shape): Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune. Ubu nakago.

Hada (grain): Ko-itame.

Hamon (temper pattern): Ko-midare, suguha with ko-ashi. Straight ko-maru boshi

This Ôdachi is in very good condition. The tang is in original condition and the blade itself has no warps.
