Open 9:00 - 4:00, then museum is closed on Mondays and from Dec 28th
to Jan 4th.
I paid the 525 yen entrance fee and entered.
The museum has a collection of 120 pieces of swords and fittings.
It also has a good book store at the entrance/exit of the main display room.
If you want to see more swords in Japan, I strongly suggest visiting
Osafune.
The museum is just off this map, but it gives you an accurate perspective of where it is.
Here is a map from the museum's brochure.
